Expensive gases imported from abroad are sold to the industry, which makes the private industry unpleasant.

Including PTT NGD (PTT holds 58% and Gulf holds 42%), it also acts as an intermediary to carry the gas that has been sold to private industrial plants, so that it may cause the eating of the cube by quoting industrial plants.

"Someone wants to know what Pool Gas is, what it has to do with electricity bills. It's easy to put together gas from many different sources and find an average price to use as a pool price.

There are three gas fields in Thailand:

1) Gas from the Gulf of Thailand itself. This is cheap. It is currently around 210 baht per MMbtu. We produce 50% of the bay from the demand of the whole country.

2) Gas imported from Burma, this is a little more expensive, about 324 baht per MMbtu, but still ok, which we bring in at 10% of the demand, and

3) Gas from foreign imports that need to be liquefied for transportation is expensive and costs up and down according to the global market and global situation. It is called LNG or liquefied natural gas. It is very expensive and has a wide range of prices. The average price we have to pay is about 400-500 baht per Mbtu. It has to be imported to 40% of the country's gas demand.

LNG gas is a problem, but it is not imported. Because we use about 5,000 BBbtu per day, but we can only dig about 2,500 BBbtu per day from the Gulf of Thailand, so we have to import 600-700 BBbtu gas from Burma per day, and we have to import about 1,800-1,900 BBbtu of LNG per day. In the past, the Pool Gas system was formed, bringing together the average price of these three types of gas, so that the price of gas in the country is the same, but only the part that will be used as cooking gas for the public. The price of LPG gas is based on the specific price of Gulf gas. It currently costs around 210 baht per MMbtu, making the current price of cooking gas at 423 baht per 15 kilograms tank. The rest is taken down. Pool Gas is exhausted, including gas from Burma. The current price of Pool Gas is around 356 baht per MMbtu. This price is used to generate electricity and use it in industrial facilities.

The reason for this type of Pool Gas system is because it wants to keep the cost of gas that industrial plants use to fuel machinery cheaper, but industrial plants that use gas for machinery have about 2,000 factories, while there are about 70,000 factories in all types, and there are nearly 70 million Thai citizens, who need electricity and do not use gas to run machines.

It turns out that Pool Gas gas for industrial plants is not sold directly to industrial plants, but to PTT NGD. PTT NGD will be sold to industrial plants, not at Pool Gas prices, but at Singapore prices. Whoever takes it, try to find out who is in this company. But can you conclude that these industrial plants are used as an excuse to eat the cube?

This system also raises the cost of gas prices for electricity generation because it takes Pool Gas prices as electricity generation fuel prices instead of Gulf gas prices.

So in recent times, I have proposed to the NCPO to adjust the Pool Gas formula to use all the cheap gases from the Gulf of Thailand for the generation of electricity for the people, instead of putting this gas into Pool Gas for the people to eat the cube, and to help reduce the gas price for gas-fueled industrial facilities for only less than 2,000 factories, while all factories in the country and the people need electricity, which the NCPO agreed and gave to the Office of Energy Policy and Plans, the Department of Energy, or the NCPO. A study to adjust the new Pool Gas formula has been underway since about last May.

The new system will bring all the Gulf gas left over from the separation into LPG cooking gas to generate electricity at the price of Gulf gas, which will make the cost of electricity cheaper immediately, but it is not enough. It has to include all the gas from Myanmar, and it is still about 20% absent. This part has to bring LNG together, but it is only a small amount, and if the director gives the director. Finding cheap LNG gas without putting it into the Pool Gas system will not affect much. Used to calculate roughly, the price of gas to generate electricity will go from 356 baht per MMbtu to about 244 baht per MMbtu. The price of electricity will definitely go down.

The truth must solve other problems to reduce electricity costs, not just the Pool Gas thing, such as unreasonably high readiness and unreasonably high other costs.

I've been hit very hard in recent times, partly because of this.

However, this kind of Pool Gas system will make electricity cheaper in the whole country, but the gas cost of industrial facilities will rise, so the most opposed. Most recently, the director of the industry discussed with the industry council about August 19, but I told the director to move on because the people are more important, to find ways and patterns that the industry can accept. The director of the industry is currently working on this, and this is the Pool Gas system for the people.

Unfortunately, it's not over yet, but I'm sure this policy and the Pool Gas formula that I've formulated will move forward because I firmly believe in the company's intention to reduce the burden of electricity on the public, as it has helped me for the past two years, and I believe this new government will agree.
