Hundreds of thousands of mobs! British protest immigrant case
On Saturday (Sept 13), more than 110,000 people took part in the "United Kingdom" march in central London, organized by right-wing activist Tommy Robinson to express their anti-immigrant stance, with many demonstrators carrying British and UK flags, including US and Israeli flags, while some wearing MAGA hats, symbolizing President Donald Trump, with banners clearly expressing themselves against immigrants.
The rally was larger than police expected, with clashes between some demonstrators and officers, resulting in 26 police injuries and 25 arrests of militants. Meanwhile, the "Stand Up to Racism" group, which organized anti-racism activities, gathered in the neighborhood with about 5,000 participants.
Following the incident, Prime Minister Keir Starmer issued a statement, reiterating that peaceful protest is the country's democratic right, but that the government will not tolerate the use of the national flag as a tool of hatred, or threaten people from different backgrounds and races.
The rally was also attended by right-wing politicians from many countries, most of whom supported the "Great Replacement Theory," a conspiracy that claimed that the white population in Europe was being "replaced" by immigrants from Muslim countries or other nations with the will of the elite or governments. The idea was heavily criticized as inciting terror, creating divisions and promoting racism in Western societies.
