All the armies agreed to close the checkpoint and build the fence.
On September 19, 2025, the Thai Army Command held its fifth meeting of the Military Commanders (B.C.), chaired by Gen. Pawit, with a full set of military commanders and police officers.
The meeting adopted three important resolutions:
1. Close the Thai-Cambodian border, both permanent and trade relief points indefinitely, until the situation is resolved and Cambodia is out of threat to Thailand.
2. Go ahead and build border fences in agreed areas with increased patrol and surveillance measures at disputed points and provide tactical routes along the border.
3. Use the International Rules of Use of Force (ROE) to cope with violations of sovereignty. If spying or intent attack is found, it is a reason to start self-defense immediately.
