Scandal! BBC caught editing Trump speech
The BBC, the British media, was caught secretly editing Donald Trump's speech and publishing a documentary that the executive had to resign because of public pressure.
Most recently, the public, to the former PM, called for a law that already forces British people to pay the BBC.
BBC Director-General Tim Davie announced his abrupt resignation last night in the wake of the latest scandal that rocked British public media.
The resignation came after an internal memo was leaked, with the former BBC Editorial and Guidelines Committee adviser stating that the BBC had misrepresented its audience by editing clips of Donald Trump's speeches.
In the Panorama documentary program, President Trump's January 6, 2021 address is taken as a montage combining from several sessions, and allegations of biased coverage of the Israel-Hamas war.
Boris Johnson, the former British Prime Minister, said it would stop paying Licence Fee until the BBC revealed the truth about the controversial clip.
Rupert Lowe, an MP, posted on social media last night that
"I don't trust the BBC to be impartial, honest or fair.
Stop paying taxes to the BBC and make it a subscription system. "
The BBC TV fee is £174.50 per year (about 7,800 baht) for both households and businesses. Despite the exemption for elderly people over 75 years, visually impaired or those in nursing homes, most people in the UK still have to pay in full. If they do not pay, they can be fined up to £1,000 (42,580 baht), including prosecution fees, and risk prosecution.
