MOST RECENT THRIFT HAUL

September has been a slow month when it comes to going out thrifting. But I was able to pick up some gems over the past few weeks.

I discovered through my boyfriend (who also likes to thrift) this pretty low key Salvation Army. Most of these items were found there with the exception of the books which I found at the new Savers in the Valley.

Thrifting in LA is way different from back east. Out here it is a sport filled with competition and informed resellers that pick over everything leaving nothing for the rest.

A lot of the places like Goodwill now are so overpriced for goods you could find on the sale rack at Target that it takes the fun out of finding true vintage.

Regardless, we go for the treasure hunt to find something unexpected that will add life and color to our home.

I am always looking for home items that can be useful or can add a beautiful aesthetic. When it comes to books I’m trying to build up a truly diverse library that encompasses everything from children’s books, art books, history, science, novels and practical knowledge.
