I’ve found through personal experience that supporting the constitution means advocating for the fundamental freedoms that protect everyone, regardless of political affiliation. Free speech, in particular, is the cornerstone of a democratic society. Without it, the ability to hold governments accountable diminishes significantly. From my observations, any government that attempts to censor or limit speech risks eroding public trust and undermining its own legitimacy. When citizens can freely express their views, it fosters a healthier and more engaged democracy. Supporting friends or movements that align with these principles—such as the patriots’ cause mentioned—reflects a dedication not to party politics, but to safeguarding these enduring values. Moreover, this commitment is essential for innovation and progress, whether in technology, like Tesla, or governance. The ability to voice concerns and debate ideas openly is what drives societies forward and ensures that power remains checked. Holding fast to these principles, even in challenging times, has been an important part of my own journey, and I encourage others to consider how protecting constitutionally guaranteed freedoms strengthens us all.
