Would you? I did. Don’t worry. It was already painted in a grey tone when we moved in. I wanted a more modern farmhouse feel. I used Terra Clay paint in Onyx to achieve this matte look. Terra is made with clay so it has a textured feel and is totally matte in finish. I simple stippled on the new color with a natural fibre brush to cover the existing grey. I took off the white mantle piece and surrounded it with reclaimed barn wood. Put it all back together and I am over the moon with this modern look! What do you think?
