As content creators – and students are creators of knowledge, after all – our goal should always be to present something true and authentic. If an FYP title simply states 'AI-powered [X Study],' it might inadvertently signal a lack of deeper, human-driven innovation. We need to remember the core message from the original article: our audience, whether it's professors, peers, or potential employers, is looking for genuine connection and unique insights. So, how do we really stand out in a world saturated with AI? It boils down to showcasing your unique perspective and original content. Instead of just highlighting the 'AI-powered' aspect, focus on the problem your project solves, the novelty of your approach, or the unique data you've analyzed. If you're using AI for optimization or analysis, that's fantastic, but emphasize your ingenuity in applying it, not just the tool itself. What makes your contribution irreplaceable? Think about building a brand online, even as a student presenting an FYP. You want to build trust and show your distinct capabilities. Using AI to 'edit your photos or video to look a certain way' for a presentation, or letting AI completely dictate your report's structure, can make your work feel generic. Instead, pour your energy into crafting compelling narratives, conducting thorough research, and presenting your findings with your own voice. Share that original content that only you can produce. Ultimately, whether you're a content creator or a student, the most impactful work is that which is truly authentic. It’s about leveraging tools like AI intelligently, not letting them overshadow your unique contribution.
