How I cleared my Seborrheic dermatitis
Many of you may be asking what is Seborrheic dermatitis aka Seb Derm.
Seb derm is a skin condition that causes scaly patches and red skin, mainly on the scalp. And it’s caused by an overgrowth of yeast.
Most dermatologists will often prescribe ketoconazole cream or shampoo as well as steroid creams to treat this condition. In my experience they made it worse on my face. However the shampoo does fine for my scalp🙂

Seborrheic dermatitis, also known as seb derm, is a common skin condition characterized by scaly patches, redness, and irritation, particularly on the scalp. This ailment results from an overgrowth of yeast, which can lead to significant discomfort. While many dermatologists recommend treatments such as ketoconazole shampoo and various steroid creams, individuals often find that their skin reacts differently. As noted in personal accounts, these products can sometimes exacerbate symptoms, especially on sensitive areas of the face. To achieve better results, exploring alternative treatments and skin care routines is crucial. For instance, caprylic acid, known for its antibacterial and antifungal properties, can help manage the yeast imbalance associated with seb derm. Products containing emollients provide necessary hydration, alleviating dryness often linked with the condition. La Roche-Posay offers a gentle foaming cleansing oil that does not strip the skin, making it suitable for sensitive skin types that also experience breakouts. Additionally, combining vanicream with organic castor oil can be beneficial for targeted treatment around affected areas. However, caution is advised, as applying mixtures across the face can lead to acne flare-ups. Always tailor your skincare to focus on the specific areas needing attention, ensuring an effective routine without triggering adverse reactions.
