It’s not that I needed anything in return.

But the silence, the cold shoulders, the harsh words from the ones I poured into?

That broke something in me I’m still trying to heal.

I gave support when no one else did.

I wiped their tears, stayed up late for them, made sacrifices…

But when I cried? They called me dramatic.

This season is about remembering who I am.

Soft doesn’t mean weak. Loving doesn’t mean blind.

I remember everything. And I’m choosing me now. 💔👑
