Hey everyone! I'm so excited to dive deeper into my latest 3D printing adventure: bringing Gonzo from Muppet Babies to life! One of the biggest tips I can offer for anyone looking to 3D print their own beloved characters is to pay close attention to layer height and infill. For a character like Gonzo, you want smooth surfaces, so a finer layer height really makes a difference. I also experimented quite a bit with different filament types before settling on one that gave Gonzo his signature vibrant look and a nice, durable finish. Don't be afraid to try different settings and even multiple prints – practice makes perfect! Finding a good quality 3D model was the first step. There are many online communities where designers share their work, and sometimes even commission custom models. Once I had the model, slicing it correctly for my printer was key. I spent some time optimizing supports to make sure they were easy to remove without damaging the print, especially around delicate areas.
