Even though I lacked energy, the ritual helped me feel a bit more refreshed and reminded me to be gentle with myself while still maintaining basic hygiene. If you find yourself feeling unwell but want to maintain some semblance of your routine, here are a few tips based on my experience: 1. Break tasks into smaller steps: Instead of thinking of washing your hair as a big chore, focus on opening the shampoo bottle first, then wetting your hair, and so on. 2. Use lukewarm water: Avoid water that's too hot or cold, as it can make you feel more uncomfortable. 3. Keep your hair care products simple: On sick days, minimal and gentle products can prevent extra irritation. 4. Rest afterward: Once you're done, make sure to rest adequately to recover your strength.
