I wanted to feel pretty & powerful today for a conference. How do you think I did with this Lattafa combo
Ms. Angham needs no introduction her name is ringing bells on all social platforms. She and her Sis Athena (which my bottle is almost gone) is causing quite a stir. I love both plus the Goddess and Goddess Intense. This DNA is just so beautiful that I can’t get enough!
Top notes are Ginger, Mandarin and Pink Pepper;
Middle notes are Lavender, Praline, Cacao and Jasmine;
Base notes are Vanilla, Amber and Musk.
Fakhar Rose is one that I slept on for the longest but since I have her she will remain in my collection. She is gorgeous with sweet white florals and fruit fading into a light musky vanilla.
Her girlfriends are: L’Interdit, My Way, I Want Choo and other sweet floral designer fragrances.
Top notes are Fruits, Lily, Pomegranate and Aldehydes;
Middle notes are Tuberose, Jasmine, Gardenia, Ylang-Ylang, Honeysuckle, Rose and Peony;
Base notes are Vanilla, White Musk, Sandalwood and Ambroxan.
This combo is stunning but just right for any occasion 🤍💛
... Read moreHey scent lovers! You know that feeling when you layer two perfumes and create something truly magical? That's exactly what happened with my Lattafa Angham and Fakhar Rose Gold combo, which I lovingly call my 'Scent of the Day: Work Edition.' It’s more than just smelling good; it’s about feeling undeniably confident and powerful, especially for those important workdays or conferences.
So, why did Angham and Fakhar Rose Gold become my secret weapon? Let's dive into the notes that make this duo sing. Angham, with its vibrant ginger, mandarin, and pink pepper top notes, immediately brings a fresh, uplifting energy. Then, the heart notes of lavender, praline, and cacao add a sophisticated warmth, while vanilla, amber, and musk ground it beautifully. It’s got this incredible balance of fresh spice and cozy sweetness. Now, pair that with Fakhar Rose Gold, which opens with luscious fruits and lily, then blossoms into a gorgeous bouquet of tuberose, jasmine, gardenia, and ylang-ylang. The base of vanilla, white musk, and sandalwood just melts everything together. The magic happens when Angham’s energetic spice and lavender meet Fakhar Rose Gold’s elegant white florals and creamy vanilla. It creates a scent that’s noticeable but not overwhelming, sophisticated yet inviting – absolutely perfect for a professional setting where you want to make an impression without shouting.
If you're curious about creating your own Lattafa combos, here are a few tips I've learned along my fragrance journey. First, know your notes! Understanding if a perfume is primarily fresh, floral, gourmand, woody, or musky helps you predict how they'll blend. For instance, Angham’s prominent ginger and lavender (as seen in the OCR images) interact beautifully with Fakhar Rose Gold’s lily and ylang-ylang. Second, start with a base. Often, a heavier, longer-lasting scent works best as your foundation. Then, layer a lighter, complementary scent over it. Third, consider the occasion. For a 'work friendly' combo, I tend to avoid overly sweet or heavy gourmands, opting instead for balanced florals, clean musks, or light spices. Finally, don't be afraid to experiment! Spray one on each wrist, let them dry, and then imagine them together. Or, do a full layering test on your skin to see how they truly develop.
Beyond this specific duo, Lattafa offers so many fantastic perfumes that are ideal for layering. Think about a simple, creamy vanilla like Lattafa Yara or a clean, ethereal musk to add depth to almost anything. Layering a bright citrus over a soft amber can create an entirely new dimension. The beauty of Lattafa is its accessibility, allowing you to build a diverse fragrance wardrobe and experiment without breaking the bank. Finding your signature layered scent isn't just about smelling good; it's about crafting an olfactory experience that makes you feel incredible. So go ahead, happy sniffing and happy layering!
The longevity on this combo is crazy!!!! I get 7+ hours!!!!
