I built this to help me trade.
Filmed this at 2am before i fell asleep, but was really excited to share the about the webapp i just built to help me trade.
The gamma exposure takes into account open interest and other data than just price action to make the calculations. So unlike normal candle stick charts where we draw arbitary lines or assume support/resistance, gamma exposure tells us where those areas are by looking at the open positions, and since market makers tend to keep themselves delta neutra, we can anticpate a strong reaction at those areas when price moves towards it.

When I first started exploring options trading, I found traditional candlestick charts limiting. They often rely on arbitrary support and resistance lines that don't always reflect real market positions. That's why I decided to develop this web app focused on gamma exposure—a concept that looks beyond price movements by analyzing open interest and market makers’ positions. Gamma exposure helps pinpoint where actual traders hold significant positions, which often corresponds to strong market reactions. For me, this has been a game changer: it’s like having a radar for where the market is likely to face real support or resistance based on the collective conviction of traders—not just price history. The app also offers insights into something called the gamma flip, which signals shifts in option market dynamics and can help identify potential trend changes. Incorporating this into my swing trading strategy allowed me to achieve a 20% profit in just one month, which is huge progress. Building and hosting this dashboard myself has been both a hobby and a valuable learning experience. I enjoy updating it as I gain new insights, and it’s rewarding to see it contribute directly to my investment success. If you're into trading and want to deepen your market understanding, I highly recommend exploring gamma exposure indicators—they offer a fresh perspective beyond typical chart analysis.

Does this only apply to options trade?
