Growing up, I wasn’t afraid to incorporate colors and patterns that stood out, which sometimes made me the center of attention but also helped me embrace my authentic self. The mention of lesbian monster high weddings reminds me of how playtime was a safe space for exploring and celebrating my unique identity. These moments allowed me to build confidence and understand that being 'pretty gay' or different wasn’t something to hide but something to celebrate. Fashion, colors, and imaginative storytelling combined to shape how I approached life and relationships. For anyone feeling unsure about their identity or struggling to express it, I encourage embracing the vibrant and unconventional parts of yourself. Whether through clothing, creative play, or community, these expressions are powerful tools for self-acceptance and joy. Looking back, I’m grateful for those colorful, fearless moments—they made it clear who I was and who I wanted to be.
