Dear Diary, When I wake up in the morning, I am surrounded by my quiet, happy, humble little old home. It’s not much- it’s not like those fancy mansions in LA- but it was hard pressed to come by for us and it means everything to me. As I walk across our old wood floors, softened by time and the pitter patter of children’s feet, I am greeted by my cat Phoebe. We make coffee together and I of course spill cream all over the place. After cleaning that up and stirring in my intentions for a happy day, I grab the cup- still hot against my fingertips in my favorite Central Perk mug- and I quietly pad to our little oak dining table. After lighting a candle, I do a simple 3 card pull and smile. “It’s gonna be alright,” I think to myself in the candlelight. My home, and the whole world it feels like, sit quietly around me as I smile at the little card. Finding the magic in the little things, the light in the darkness, a smile in uncertainty- that’s kind of my thing though. I pinch out the little candle sitting in its gold flecked teacup.
