Chocolate & vanilla shower routine 🍫🍪

THISSSS COMBO SMELLED SOOO GOOD I HAD TO SHARE IT!!

*pls excuse any typos I just literally typed this in one setting🥲*

I started my shower by washing with the dove shea butter soap bar which is such a good base for a vanilla combo

After scrubbing with the bar soap and a wash cloth I then go in with a body scrub to exfoliate and remove any dead skin. You can also use tree hut’s vanilla body scrub but this was the only scrub I had that would go with the combo.

Once I’ve exfoliated I like to go in with a body wash that will match with my combo of the day. The cozy fireside s’more was perfect for the chocolate aspect of this combo!! The marshmallow makes this combo more soft and fluffy.

After I get out of the shower while my body is still damp I go in and spray the vanilla body mist all over me. This is the bestttt vanilla body mist I’ve ever smelled!!! Smells just like ice cream to me🥰

I then moisturize… this part is based on whatever you want to use there’s so many vanilla options when it comes to moisturizing!! I chose the cocoa butter lotion because it smelled more like chocolate and for this combo I wanted more chocolate than vanilla🤗

Lastly, This is a Necessity if you want that chocolatey, vanilla marshmallow scent! Choco musk is heavy on the chocolate note it’s soooo good !!

*If you’re not too heavy on the chocolate but still want a little hint of it I recommend using the perfume dulce by Rosie Jane! If you don’t want any of the chocolate I recommend using a vanilla bodywash, a vanilla lotion (eos vanilla cashmere would be perfect), and a vanilla perfume such as vanilla 28 or vanilla woods!!*☺️

⭐️Overall rating:10 /5: LMK if you try this combo!!🍫🫶🏾

... Read moreOkay, so you loved my chocolate and vanilla shower routine, right? I've been getting so many questions about how to make it even more of an 'everything shower' experience, or how to adapt it for different skin needs, so I wanted to share a few more tips! First, let's talk about creating that ultimate 'aesthetic shower routine' vibe. For me, it starts before I even step in. I love to dim the bathroom lights, light a candle (vanilla scented, of course!), and put on some relaxing music. This immediately transforms it from just a wash into a self-care ritual. Before I even use my Dove shea butter soap, I often do a quick dry brush. It's amazing for circulation and really preps my skin for exfoliation, making my body feel incredibly smooth. Now, for those of you asking about an 'acne body wash shower routine' or how to manage skin concerns within a luxurious routine, listen up! While my current routine focuses on scent, I've definitely incorporated elements over time to keep my skin happy. If you're prone to body breakouts, you might want to use a salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide body wash before going in with your scented products. You can target specific areas like your back or chest. After rinsing that off, you can then follow with your cozy bodycology cozy fireside s'more body wash. This way, you're treating your skin without sacrificing the delicious scent experience. Just remember to always patch test new products! Exfoliation is key, and I mentioned using a scrub like Coco Coffee. For an even more 'warm shower skincare routine' feel, I sometimes let the steam build up first, which helps open pores and makes exfoliation more effective. When I use my Coco Coffee scrub, I focus on areas that tend to get dull or dry, like elbows and knees. It really helps the subsequent products, like Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula, sink in better. And for making that 'chocolate vanilla body mist' last all day? Layering is your best friend! After my shower, while my skin is still a little damp from the Bare Vanilla mist, I don't just stop at lotion. I'll sometimes use a body oil or a solid perfume (like Choco Musk) on my pulse points before getting dressed. This really locks in the fragrance and makes it radiate subtly throughout the day. For a truly 'clean smelling shower routine' that lingers, don't forget your hair! A vanilla-scented leave-in conditioner or hair perfume can complete the whole aroma experience. Finally, think about your 'body care routine aesthetic bathroom'. Keep your favorite products, like your Palmer's Cocoa Butter, visible and organized. A pretty shower caddy or a small tray on your counter can make your daily routine feel more intentional and enjoyable. It's all about creating an experience that makes you feel pampered from start to finish!
