It doesn’t mean resorting to negativity but rather addressing the issue firmly and honestly. By doing so, you protect your well-being and demonstrate self-respect. I remember a situation where a colleague was continuously dismissive of my ideas. Instead of reacting angrily, I calmly pointed out how their behavior was affecting our teamwork. This direct yet respectful approach not only improved our dynamic but also earned their respect. Ultimately, embracing humility and kindness while being prepared to 'drag a mf'—or firmly confront someone who crosses the line—ensures you maintain balance and dignity. It empowers you to build stronger relationships without compromising your values.
