Review of: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
Finally finished this book. Honestly, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is one of those books that hooks you without even trying. It’s messy, dramatic, full of secrets, and the ending hits you in the gut in the best way. You spend half the time questioning Evelyn like, is she selfish or just doing what she had to do? and the other half feeling sorry for Monique carrying all that truth on her shoulders.
I’d give it a solid 9/10.
I’d definitely recommend it especially if you love drama, big emotions, and characters who make you think even when you don’t agree with them. It’s not a light, fluffy read, but it’s the kind that stays with you after you close the book.
