Power … under authority
**They taught you that “meekness” means weakness.
They were wrong.**
Jesus said:
“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.”
But the word “meek” never meant soft.
In ancient language, it was used for **war horses**.
A wild horse is powerful…
but dangerous. Uncontrolled.
But when it is trained—
when it learns to respond to the rider—
it becomes something else.
Not weaker.
But **focused**.
Same strength.
Different control.
That’s what meekness is.
**Power… under authority.**
Moses was called the meekest man alive—
yet he confronted Pharaoh and led a nation.
Jesus was meek—
yet He flipped tables in the temple.
Meekness is not silence.
It’s restraint.
Not the absence of power…
but the mastery of it.
The world says:
“If you don’t fight back, you lose.”
The Kingdom says:
“If you don’t control yourself, you lose everything.”
So today—
don’t react from your wound.
Don’t use your strength to create chaos.
**Give the reins to the right Rider.**
Because the one who can control his power…
is the one trusted to carry authority.
