🕸️Spooky Season Highlight👻Deadwood, SD

This trip took me to Deadwood, South Dakota, where we spent the night exploring the Historic Fairmont Hotel & Oyster Bay Bar — one of the city’s most haunted former bordellos. We also stayed at Hickok’s Casino Hotel which was fun and eerie in its’ own right.

Visiting in winter was its own kind of magic. ❄️

The streets were quieter, the air colder, and the energy of the old buildings felt louder because of it. Not everything is open that time of year, but if your goal is paranormal research (or you just want a little more space between you and the living), that’s the season to go.

This town holds some palpable energy. It’s a must see! Deadwood doesn’t sleep, even in the snow. 👻
