If You Know Where It Hurts, You Know Where to Heal
They say some things can’t be fixed — like a child’s soul once it’s been broken, piece by piece, by silence and disappointment. They say once it cracks, it stays that way. But that’s a lie. Because if you know where it’s broken, you already know where to begin healing. You’ve seen the damage, you’ve felt the weight, and you’ve carried it long enough to understand what it needs.
Healing doesn’t start with perfection — it starts with awareness. It starts when you stop pretending you’re fine and finally admit that you deserved better. It starts when you hold the part of yourself that still flinches and say, “You’re safe now.” You can’t change what happened, but you can change what it means to you.
The cracks aren’t something to hide they’re a map. Each one leads back to a memory, a version of you that was asking for love, for understanding, for peace. And maybe that’s what real healing is — walking back through the pain, not to relive it, but to release it.
Because nothing inside you was ever truly lost. The child within you is still there waiting for your voice to be the one that says what nobody said back then: “You didn’t deserve that. And you can start again.” 💭
