What I have been eating
Over the past few weeks, I've been exploring a variety of dishes that not only satisfy my cravings but also introduce different flavors and textures to my daily diet. One of my favorites has been Peking Duck, a classic Chinese delicacy known for its crispy skin and tender meat paired with hoisin sauce and thin pancakes—it's truly a treat that’s both rich and balanced. Another standout meal was beef with green beans, a dish combining hearty protein with fresh, crunchy vegetables that make a quick yet fulfilling meal. It’s an easy way to get nutrients without compromising on flavor. Pairing meals like these with delightful side options such as dumplings from Dumpling Queen adds a comforting and enjoyable touch that reminds me of homemade meals. For something sweet and indulgent, Nutella banana pancakes are my go-to breakfast. The creamy Nutella combined with the natural sweetness of bananas creates the perfect morning energy boost. Also, garlic cream cheese bagels have become a favorite snack; they're simple but flavorful, ideal for mid-day noshing. On the beverage front, I’ve been enjoying Vietnamese coffee and matcha from Trung Nguyen — their robust and smooth coffee varieties give me the perfect pick-me-up while the matcha offers a refreshing and healthful alternative. Finally, Hey Yogurt has been my recent discovery for a healthy snack. Its tangy, creamy texture makes it a great accompaniment to fruit or just on its own when I need something light. These meals and snacks not only provide delicious flavors but also represent a balance between indulgence and nourishment. Sharing these has been a way for me to connect with the joys of eating diverse foods and to inspire others who might be looking to mix up their daily menus.
