If you’re over 30, and not seeing results…
FIRST OF ALL, you’re not alone in this! *HUG*
There are *many* reasons why you may not be seeing the changes that you want to in your body composition, whether you’re trying to gain muscle and/or lose fat.
Here are a few of the most common reasons that you might be stuck, and the good news (we love good news 🤓) is they are ALL things we can change:
⚖️ YOU LIFT WEIGHTS, BUT WITHOUT A PLAN
The great part about having just enough experience in the gym is that you can walk into the gym and throw together a workout when needed.
The sh*t part is if you aren’t intentionally tracking these workouts and adding progressive overload in a strategic way, you’re muscles aren’t going to get the appropriate stimulus required to adapt and, ultimately, grow 📈
⚖️ YOU DON’T KNOW HOW MUCH YOUR BODY NEEDS NUTRITIONALLY
I mean this when I say, a majority of whether or not you get the results you want is going to be based on your nutrition.
Eating too much? You aren’t going to lean out like you’d hope
Eating too little? You aren’t going give your muscles the fuel they need to develop
Eating processed foods all the time? You aren’t going to get the micronutrients required to support the metabolic processes that you need to stay energized and strong.
⚖️ YOU’RE LACK CONSISTENCY
This applies to anything in life, consistency wins every damn time. If you’re hopping on and off a workout routine or nutrition plan, then you’re just going to keep running in circles (no pun intended for my running clients 😆)
You need a program you can stick to and commit to, and no, it doesn’t need to be the gym 5x’s a week or eating chicken, broccoli, and rice every day (unless that’s your thing, of course).
If you’re still not sure how to make *actual* progress in the gym, or what you need to be fueling your specific body with, please DM “Ready” to start this week 💌
I still have some open spots open for 1:1 Coaching and customized programming.
K Love you, Bye 😘

If you’ve been hitting the gym at least three times a week but haven’t noticed the body changes you desire, especially if you’re over 30, know that you’re not alone. One key factor is that our bodies naturally change with age—metabolism slows down, hormone levels shift, and recovery times can increase. This makes a strategic approach to fitness and nutrition even more important. Progressive overload is essential for muscle growth and strength gains. Without intentionally increasing weight, reps, or workout intensity, your muscles won’t receive adequate stimulus to grow. Tracking your workouts helps you see progress and prevents plateaus. Consider adopting a structured program where you gradually increase demands on your muscles. Nutrition plays a bigger role than many realize. What you eat fuels your workouts and recovery. Eating too many calories can prevent fat loss, while under-eating starves your muscles and limits growth. Focus on balanced meals rich in whole foods to provide adequate protein, healthy fats, and micronutrients that support metabolism and energy levels. Consistency is the cornerstone of success. Sporadic gym visits or yo-yo dieting disrupt progress and make it harder to reach goals. A sustainable regimen is better than an intense but short-lived effort. This doesn’t mean you have to spend hours daily at the gym or eat bland food—find a routine and meals that you enjoy and can maintain long term. For those unsure where to start or stuck despite effort, personalized coaching or a customized fitness plan can provide guidance tailored to your specific body needs and lifestyle. This approach often accelerates results by targeting problem areas and optimizing both workouts and nutrition efficiently. Ultimately, patience and persistence combined with a tailored plan will help those over 30 overcome common challenges and achieve lasting fitness progress.
