Valentine Popcorn Snack Mix ❤️

Sweet + salty + disappears fast. This Valentine’s popcorn mix is perfect for movie nights, school treats, or “just one handful” snacking (you know how that goes).

You’ll need:

• 4 cups lightly salted popcorn

• 12 oz pink chocolate candy melts

• 1 cup red & pink Valentine’s M&M’s

• ½ cup salted peanuts

• ¼ cup Valentine candy corn

• 2 tbsp festive Valentine sprinkles

How to make it:

1. Line a baking sheet with wax paper and spread popcorn out evenly. Remove any unpopped kernels.

2. Melt the pink candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in short 15-second bursts and stirring until smooth.

3. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the popcorn, tossing gently so it coats evenly.

4. Sprinkle on M&M’s, peanuts, candy corn, and sprinkles while the chocolate is still warm.

5. Chill in the fridge until set, then break into bite-sized clusters and enjoy.

Sweet, crunchy, and perfect for Valentine’s Day snacking 💕

... Read moreIf you're looking to elevate your Valentine's Day treats this year, this Valentine Popcorn Snack Mix is a perfect choice. Not only is it quick to prepare, but it also offers that irresistible combination of sweet and salty flavors that everyone loves. When making the mix, I found that using lightly salted popcorn balances the sweetness of the pink chocolate candy melts and candy-coated chocolates beautifully. One tip I recommend is to spread the popcorn evenly on large wax paper to avoid clumping when drizzling the melted pink chocolate. Also, be sure to stir the chocolate gently but thoroughly during melting to avoid any lumps and ensure smooth coating. Sprinkling the M&Ms, peanuts, candy corn, and festive Valentine sprinkles immediately while the chocolate is still warm helps them stick better and adds a colorful, festive touch. For storage, I keep the popcorn mix in an airtight container in the refrigerator to maintain its crunchy texture and keep the chocolate from melting. This mix is not only great for family movie nights but also makes a fabulous treat for school parties or gift baskets. Experimenting with different varieties of chocolate candy melts or adding your favorite nuts can personalize the recipe further. For instance, swapping salted peanuts for roasted almonds or adding mini marshmallows can add new texture dimensions. Overall, this snack mix is a crowd-pleaser that's fun to make and enjoy all through February.
