Social media will have you thinking everybody is living in a Hallmark movie while you're starring in a low-budget survival documentary. 😂
Here's the truth...
Most people don't post the arguments, the panic attacks, the overdraft notices, the sleepless nights, the counseling sessions, the prayers that haven't been answered yet, or the ugly cry in the car after work.
They post the vacation... not the credit card bill. They post the wedding... not the hard conversations. They post the promotion... not the years of rejection. They post the blessing... not the battles.
So stop comparing your real life to somebody else's highlight reel.
The Bible reminds us, "Each one should test their own actions... without comparing themselves to someone else." (Galatians 6:4)
God didn't call you to run their race. He called you to be faithful in yours.
And while we're being honest...
I'm an introvert by nature. If I'm talking to you, texting you first, checking on you, inviting you somewhere, or making time for you... understand that's a big deal. 😂
I don't have the social battery to entertain everybody. I recharge in peace, quiet, and with Jesus.
So if I consistently make room for you in my life, it's because I genuinely rock with you.
Protect your peace. Stay grateful. Run your own race. And remember... God is writing your testimony, not your social media feed.
Some of the happiest-looking people online are praying for the peace God has already been giving you.
