Travel trips for Iceland 🇮🇸
🇮🇸 Must see spots: Rainbow street and Hallgrimskirkja. Rainbow street has many shops and restaurants to visit in the heart of Reykjavik. Hallgrimskirkja is the largest church in Iceland and we were able to see the inside as well which was so gorg
🇮🇸 Sky Lagoon: Alternative to Blue Lagoon! Much less crowded and offers a 7 step ritual which includes soaking in the lagoon, doing a polar plunge, and sitting in saunas and steam rooms. The purchase of the 7 step ritual includes private changing/shower rooms which was HUGE for an American (IYKYK)
🇮🇸 Night life: I was (pleasantly) surprised with how busy the night life was in Reykjavik and would recommend leaving a night or two to explore the different bars!
Iceland is known for its stunning landscapes, unique culture, and vibrant cities. While in Reykjavik, be sure to stroll along Rainbow Street, a hub of shops and eateries that embodies the spirit of this colorful city. You can also visit Hallgrimskirkja, the largest church in Iceland, recognized for its impressive architecture and panoramic views from the tower. If you're searching for an alternative to the famous Blue Lagoon, the Sky Lagoon offers a tranquil experience with less crowding. Enjoy a luxurious seven-step ritual that includes soaking in geothermal waters, invigorating polar plunges, and relaxing in beautiful sauna facilities with private changing rooms. Reykjavik's nightlife is buzzing with energy, so set aside a night or two to explore the dynamic bar scene, which caters to all tastes, from cozy pubs to trendy nightclubs. When planning your Iceland itinerary, consider these highlights to ensure a memorable adventure!
