Car accident need repair & insurance advice! 😟
Last night in downtown Ann Arbor, a car in the right hand lane suddenly tried to turn left without signaling when the light turned green and crashed into my car. I quickly pulled over, recorded the damage, took pics of their insurance and license plate, got their phone number (checked it works), and recorded them admitting fault. It was my first accident, so I documented everything I could think of.
The cover under the right side rear view mirror is gone, and there are 2 scratches on the right side of the car (not too deep?).
Ppl who live in Michigan, how much might repairs cost? Will my premium increase a lot if I file a claim? Can I switch insurance companies? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
