Now I’m terrified to open it. Should I?

I just grabbed ""To the Success of Our Hopeless Cause"", the 2025 Pulitzer nonfiction winner focused on Soviet dissident movements. Tried ordering next day delivery, but it’s sold out until June 1st.

At 800 pages, it’s a hefty read, but its timing feels pointed, a story of resistance and fragile hope in an era of renewed global debates on oppression. Is the Pulitzer committee drawing parallels to modern struggles, or simply honoring historical reckoning?
