DTLA parking scam

I parked in DTLA cause a sign said $3, but I ended up paying $10 (it’s only for the first 10 mins). I felt so scammed! Anybody else hit by these parking tricks?

Many drivers have reported similar experiences, falling victim to misleading advertisements. The sign that promised parking for $3 was actually only valid for the first 10 minutes, leading to unexpected charges for unaware drivers. This has sparked conversations among locals and visitors alike about the need for improved transparency and regulation in public parking. Exploring online forums and local news can uncover more stories about parking scams. Engaging in community discussions via hashtags like #parking and #scam can offer support and share solutions. Local residents have suggested tips to avoid these predicaments, such as taking photos of parking signs for reference and reading reviews of parking lots before committing.
