Fashion borrows from everywhere?

Wait… Miu Miu’s 2026 Spring collection really said prison chic. The belt looks almost identical to the one worn by Luigi Mangione in his mugshot handcuffs and all.

Like, are we glamorizing jail uniforms now? I get that fashion borrows from everywhere, but this feels kinda funny.

My friend who works in fashion said designers call it industrial rebellion. That’s not rebellion, that’s rebranding trauma for $2,000. Do you think fashion has gone too far?
