Do I email them and come clean?

I interviewed for a job last week, and they asked me about my experience with a specific software. It sounded kinda familiar, so I said yeah to not mess up the opportunity. But it’s nothing like what I thought it was.

Today, they emailed me the job offer, which starts next week. I’ve been binging YouTube tutorials nonstop, but this software’s way more complex than I guessed. I’m terrified they’ll figure out I lied within the first hour on the job.

I know I shouldn’t have fibbed, it was a split second dumb move, and now it’s a huge mess. Do I email them and come clean before day one? Or cram as much as I can, fake confidence, and hope I catch up fast enough?
