Let’s retire these, please.

let’s talk about overused phrases that need to vanish. First up: “I was today years old when I learned…” It’s so played out, I cringe every time I see it. Same with “You won the internet!” Like, can we come up with something actual fresh?

As a millennial, I’m calling my own generation out here, we’re the ones who ran these into the ground, and now they just feel cheesy. And don’t even get me started on ending a rant with “that is all.” It’s not cute or concise anymore.

You don’t have to agree. Are there any overused phrases you’re dying to never hear again?
