I really enjoyed this story from the very beginning. I liked the FMC Lucy immediately I enjoyed the bits of humor in her personality a lot. Ben is doing a true crime podcast on Lucy who is accused of murdering her best friend. She was roaming aimlessly with her best friends blood with no memory of what happened. Police had no proof and couldn’t arrest her, but everyone was sure it was her. She goes back to the town after 5 years and ends up working with Ben to figure out who actually killed Savvy or if it was actually her. I haven’t read a thriller in a while and this took me right out of the slump I was getting into.
