Most coffee and energy drinks don’t actually give you energy.
They give you stress. That tired but wired feeling. The jitters. The afternoon crash. The brain fog that hits even when you just had caffeine. That’s usually a cortisol spike. I didn’t realize this for years. I just thought I needed stronger coffee or better sleep or more discipline.
