My name is Rhonda Mendoza, and I’m a mom to four wonderful adult children and a very proud grandmother to six amazing grandkids. My life has always been about family and caring for others, especially those who need it most. For years, I’ve dedicated myself to working with disabled children, a role that brings me immense joy and fulfillment. Seeing their progress and being a part of their lives is incredibly rewarding. Life throws unexpected challenges our way, and right now, I'm facing one that's making it hard for me to continue my work and support my family the way I want to. Without reliable transportation, getting to my job and managing daily responsibilities has become a huge hurdle. This is why participating in the Super Mom contest on thesupermom.org is so important to me. Winning a car isn't just about a prize; it's about regaining my independence and ability to serve. It means I can get back to my beloved work with disabled children, ensuring they receive the care and support they deserve. It means I can continue to be there for my family, driving grandkids to activities, and running errands without worry. Throughout my life, from raising my own children to becoming a grandmother, and sharing countless family memories (like those cherished vintage portraits and joyful gatherings), my family has been my rock. These moments, like celebrating milestones or just everyday smiles, fuel my spirit. The thought of being able to continue contributing meaningfully, both to my family and to the children I work with, keeps me going.
