5 Things I Had to Unlearn to Become Her

I thought becoming her meant adding more…

More discipline

More routines

More pressure

But the truth is…

I had to unlearn everything that was keeping me stuck.

Here’s what I had to let go of:

1. Waiting until I felt ready

2. Overthinking every move

3. Staying where I was comfortable

4. Putting everyone before me

5. Doubting what I knew I deserved

Becoming her isn’t about becoming someone new…

It’s about returning to who you’ve always been.

... Read moreFrom my personal journey, I found that unlearning these five habits was transformative in becoming who I truly am. First, waiting until I felt ready often delayed opportunities and growth. Embracing action despite uncertainty helped me build confidence and momentum. Second, overthinking every move can be paralyzing; learning to trust my intuition and make decisions more calmly opened doors to creativity and peace. Third, staying in comfort zones felt safe but limited my potential. Growth required embracing discomfort and new challenges. Fourth, constantly putting everyone before myself led to burnout. Setting boundaries and prioritizing self-care improved my well-being and relationships. Lastly, doubting what I deserved held me back from pursuing dreams and deserving success. Affirming my worth shifted my mindset toward empowerment. Letting go of these limiting beliefs wasn’t easy, but it allowed me to return to my authentic self and thrive. If you’re on this journey too, remember it’s less about becoming someone new and more about rediscovering who you’ve always been deep inside.

Things I had to unlearn to heal
Some of the hardest things I had to unlearn weren’t habits. They were beliefs. The belief that being strong meant carrying everything alone. The belief that rest had to be earned. The belief that my worth was tied to how much I could endure. The belief that healing had to be hard.
