🌞Ahu Tongariki

The most iconic site, featuring 15 massive, restored moai standing shoulder-to-shoulder on a large ceremonial platform. It is the best spot on the island to watch the sunrise.

🌞Rano Raraku Quarry

Known as the "moai factory" or nursery, this volcanic crater hillside is where nearly all the moai were carved. You will see hundreds of statues in various stages of completion, offering a unique insight into their creation and transport.

🌞Ahu Tahai

 Located near the main town of Hanga Roa, this site has several restored ahu (platforms), including one moai with a replica of its original coral eyes and red topknot (pukao). It is a popular and free spot to watch the sunset.

🌞Orongo Ceremonial Village

Perched on the cliff edge of the Rano Kau volcano crater, this ancient village was the center of the "Birdman" (Tangata Manu) cult. Explore the stone houses and petroglyphs while enjoying breathtaking views of the crater lake and the ocean islets (Motu Nui, Motu Iti, and Motu Kao Kao).
