The story starts with the summer of April's graduation... which anyone likes to do before work or going to school is probably a Gap year to find themselves. April also wants to go where his mother's hand can't hold him or his brother's car can't drive him.

Some people think this is courage, some people think it's hard, but April thinks this is an opportunity to grow, learn, and maybe be a little better person, it's still good... but who knows that America, summer, beach, storm, rain, will catch him and grow him as he can't imagine, but it wouldn't be like that without that person, the person he came to was a warm sun, cold wind, toranado in a few months.
