Jewelry collection! So I’m personally not the type to wear a lot of jewelry, I just have them as keepsakes from special moments in my life. Most of these I’ve had since I was little, and then throughout my teen years. The ones that I took individual pictures of mean those most to me. So the first gold bracelet picture I got when I was born (I can actually still wear it), and the 3rd gold bracelet picture I got that one when I was a year old. The silver ballerina charm bracelet I got when I was 7 years old, because my whole life up until I was 19 revolved around dance. The Cancer necklace I got from a store in Greensboro North Carolina….my mom and I went in because it was an apothecary store, I’d seen some zodiac jewelry and I wanted to find a Cancer bracelet (I’m a Cancer: July 12th) but there weren’t any left. Ironically enough the lady who owned the store was from NY (where my parents and I are from) and we vibed with her so well that she gave me the only Cancer jewelry piece that she had in stock that day, it was that necklace and she gave it to me for free because my birthday was actually 3 days later. The ring (real diamonds) my dad got for me as a late Christmas gift this year, and one of his close friends back in NY owns a jewelry store so he ended up gifting it to me. The cross necklace….the actual cross itself I’ve had seen Christmas 2016, but the chain was much smaller and longer so my dad got me a new chain. Now me personally, I stopped being religious at 14 years old (my own personal reasons) however I do still believe in God and Jesus just not in the typical Christian, Catholic, etc way….so this cross is more so for protection purposes. I am very blessed and grateful to have received these pieces even if I don’t wear them all the time. #jewelry #jewelrycollection
