Meals that actually settle my tummy bloat & make me feel nourish.
When I experience tummy bloat or a feeling of inflammation, I’ve learned that what I eat plays a huge role in how quickly I recover and feel nourished. Incorporating whole foods rich in fiber, antioxidants, and healthy fats really helps settle my stomach. For example, seeds like pumpkin, chia, and sesame provide not only texture but also essential omega-3s that reduce inflammation. Combining these seeds with fruits such as blueberries, strawberries, and mango adds natural sweetness and powerful antioxidants that support gut health. Greek yogurt is another staple I rely on, as its probiotics enhance digestion and help balance gut flora. Along with these, I often include nutrient-dense foods like avocado and salmon, which are packed with anti-inflammatory properties and healthy fats. I also find fermented foods like kimchi helpful for maintaining a healthy digestive system, and starchy vegetables like potato combined with protein sources like rump steak create balanced, satisfying meals. The addition of fresh cucumber and herbs like spring onion or seaweed adds hydration and minerals, further supporting the body’s wellbeing. Meal planning with these ingredients in mind ensures that my meals not only curb bloating but provide comprehensive nourishment to help me feel my best. Over time, paying attention to how certain foods affect my body has helped me manage inflammation more proactively and maintain a happier, healthier gut.
