「肥姐小食店」って名前だけはよく聞くけど、実際どんな味？…と思って行く人が多いはず。私も旺角を歩いていて行列につられて並びました。結論、観光名所として“体験”するのは楽しいけど、味の期待値を上げすぎないのがコツです。 まず注文の流れ。ショーケースに串（イカ、赤いソーセージ、卵っぽいもの、黄色い練り物系など）がずらっと並んでいて、指さしでオーダーできます。行列でも回転は早めで、数分で順番が来ることが多い印象でした。 味のポイントは「冷たい串」＋「ソースの強さ」。温かい屋台を想像していると、ここでギャップが出ます。串は冷たい（もしくは常温）で、上からマスタードっぽい刺激と、甘辛いタレがしっかりかかる感じ。さらにワサビ系の辛さがツンと来て、“素材を味わう”というより“ソースで食べる”タイプでした。辛いのが苦手な人は、少なめにできるか身振りで伝えると安心です。 私のおすすめの頼み方は、最初は2〜3本だけ買って試すこと。いきなり多めに買うと、口に合わなかった時に地味にきついです。反対に「この刺激感が好き！」となったら追加購入すればOK。写真映えはするので、初回は少量で“自分の好みチェック”が一番失敗しません。 持ち帰りも便利ですが、タレが多めで容器が汚れやすいので、ウェットティッシュがあると助かりました。あと地味に大事なのが支払い。現金のみのことが多いので、並ぶ前に小額紙幣や小銭を用意しておくとスムーズです。 場所は旺角エリアでアクセスしやすく、油麻地駅A2出口から歩けます。食べ歩きの休憩には、すぐ隣の「椰汁大王」のココナッツジュースがかなり安定。辛めのソースのあとに飲むと、口の中がリセットされて最高でした。 「肥姐小食店」は、香港らしいB級グルメの勢いと行列の熱気を楽しむお店。味は好みが割れる前提で行くと、満足度が上がります。
