Fulfilling Dinner

Brussel sprouts:

Rinse Brussel sprouts

Boil them 10 mins til tender

Pre heat oven to 425F

Rinse again and peel any unwanted parts and let them dry.

Cut them in half’s and cut off bottom (hardened part).

Place sprouts on pan and drizzle with olive oil and season them to liking.

(Seasons I used Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder).

Roast for 25 mins or til desired crispness.

*You can add parm on top or squeeze a lemon and some balsamic glaze*

Garlic Mashed Potatoes:

Clean and peel potatoes then, cut them into thirds.

Boil them in salt water.

In a small pan add 3/4 cup of heavy cream, minced garlic, 1 stick of butter, and salt and pepper. Warm ingredients just to let the butter melt and the garlic release flavor.

Drain the potatoes and add them back to pot.

Slowly mash them while adding the cream mixture.

Lemon pepper chicken:

Use thinner chicken breasts

Combine flour, lemon pepper seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

Coat chicken evenly coating each side.

In a pan add some oil over medium heat and add the chicken and cook.

Remove chicken and add butter, minced garlic and saute for one minute.

Add 1/2 cup of chicken broth and 1 tsp of lemon juice let it come to a simmer then add chicken back in and spoon the sauce over the pieces.
