Honest review

I watch a few people do what I eat in a day videos and I see the protein bites brand a lot. I finally got to my local 5 below to get some. I grabbed the red velvet brownie and I have the dark chocolate muffins at home. I tried the brownie and it tasted ok. Not really sweet, which I know is the point but it tasted alright. I want to try a different flavor kind of brownie. I'll post about the muffins when I give them a try🫶🏿

Curious about the hype, I headed to my local 5 Below store to grab some for myself. I chose the red velvet brownie flavor, while already having the dark chocolate muffins waiting for their turn at home. Trying the red velvet brownie, I found it pleasantly mild rather than overly sweet, which matches the product's aim of being a healthier snack option. The bite delivers about 19 grams of protein along with collagen, making it a convenient choice for those looking to boost their protein intake on the go. The taste was okay—satisfying but not spectacular—perfect if you’re not looking for sugary snacks but still want a bit of indulgence. Since the brownie flavor leaned towards subtle sweetness, I’m really looking forward to sampling the dark chocolate muffins, which might have a richer chocolate profile. For anyone interested in low-sugar, high-protein snacks, Protein Bites could be a convenient alternative. The net weight of each pack is 2.29oz (65g), making it an easy snack portion for busy days. If you’re like me, trying different flavors from the brand could be a fun way to find your favorite. I plan to share my thoughts on the muffins after I try them, so stay tuned for a follow-up review. All in all, Protein Bites offer a balance between nutrition and taste, though the flavor intensity might not satisfy all sweet tooth cravings.
