Hot dayum, Jeneva! You are truly the Queen of Twists! Seriously, if it weren’t for having to work, I’d have finished this the day I started. This book was unputdownable! The characters were well written and well developed, even the ones I hated all the way through. Adam was just completely unlikable as he kept trying to make himself out to be a victim. His mother was just as bad and explained exactly how he turned out the way he did. All the way through, I kept thinking I knew what was happening, just to have another twist blow that theory right out of the water. When the final twist was revealed, I was completely surprised. I loved that we got both Adam’s and Sarah’s points of view. Adam just kept making such bad choices and justifying everything to himself. There were so many times I wanted to smack him for being dumb! Even with both of them narrating, they both managed to drop a few serious bombshells. I literally cannot wait for The Perfect Divorce to come out, so if Barnes and Noble wants to deliver my preorder, I’d be completely fine with it. Waiting until Tuesday is going to be so hard!
