Another fun thing to do in the summer with children is renting out a theater!
My family and I utilized the smaller screening rooms, so we could take all the kids to the movies. Now we have two 2 year olds in the bunch- so we wanted to be able to have a room where the could get up and move around. Because realistically, they don’t sit the whole time.
