pokémon card pickups✨
i got some pickups from my local card shop! i actually sold some bulk and sold some cards that weren’t my faves for half off of the eevee (paid $40) i also picked up jirachi because she is one of my favs. Spheal is cute af and a basic card everyone should have. I picked up Togedemaru for my friend’s bday! And i think i shall start collecting cute trainers (nothing too fancy, just basic girlies)
What’s the cutest card you have??? i wanna see some binder pages :3
Collecting Pokémon cards is such a fun and personal hobby! When I found the radiant Eevee card for $40 after selling some bulk cards, it felt like a great deal because Eevee’s versatility in evolving makes it special. Jirachi is truly a favorite—not only because of its adorable design but also its rare ability to grant wishes in the Pokémon lore, which adds sentimental value to my collection. Spheal’s charm as a basic card is undeniable; it’s perfect for beginners and collectors who appreciate cute, less flashy cards. I also love gifting Pokémon cards like Togedemaru to friends—it adds a personal touch to gifts, especially when the card art reflects the character’s playful nature. Recently, I’ve started collecting beginner-friendly trainer cards featuring cute female characters, which isn’t only about rarity or strength but about aesthetics and personal connection. This collection approach keeps the hobby enjoyable and accessible without focusing solely on competitive play. If you’re just starting out, I recommend visiting local card shops where you can find unique cards and even trade with other collectors. Also, organizing your cards in binders featuring themed pages, like my 'beloved cozy page' for Eevee or a special page for radiant Jirachi, makes the hobby more immersive. What’s really exciting is sharing your collection with others—whether it’s showing your cutest Pokémon card or entire binder pages. The community around Pokémon cards is incredibly supportive, and seeing others' collections can inspire your own. So, what’s the cutest card in your collection? Let's share and celebrate these treasures!
