Sunday reset of my work-in-progress home

Sunday resets are fairly new to me, but I’ve found it’s becoming easier and even more enjoyable the more I do it. I love starting off my work week feeling put together and having a cleaner home. There’s still some things I’d like to updo or eventually replace, but I love the feeling of being able to relax with my kids on Sunday nights knowing I don’t still have a huge to do list to get done. Not to mention my house smells amazing after everything is done. 😍

Ps. I’m a long ways from done on decorating my house and making it more of a home, but I will post more as I get different rooms finished ☺️

To get started, consider establishing a routine that works for you. Begin with simple tasks like decluttering common areas or organizing spaces that often become messy. Creating a checklist can streamline your process, ensuring nothing is overlooked. Also, try to include your kids in the chores; it’s a great way to teach responsibility while having fun together. As you work, play some upbeat music to create a positive and motivating atmosphere. Additionally, you might want to set a timer for each task to stay focused and maintain momentum. If your house still has lingering odors from the week’s activities, light a refreshing candle or use essential oils to create a pleasant environment. Remember, it's not about achieving perfection but rather about making your space more enjoyable and functional. Lastly, take a moment to sit down and reflect on the week ahead, identifying your priorities. This is also the perfect time to think about little updates or decorations that will make your home feel even more comfortable and personalized. Regular Sunday resets can transform your home life by combining productivity with family bonding, ultimately creating a sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation.
