📍Location: Old Mill Bridge
🗺️Description&Context: The old mill district is home to many shops, fine places to eat and even the movies and ice cream. Surrounding the shopping are their is beauty to behold. Little trails under tunneled bridges with beautiful art inside to surround you while your steps echo throughout! Rock chucks and many other cute animals galore, but they’re are even beavers swimming and walking around! The river is able to swam in, floated down in tubes, kayaks and paddle boards for people of all skill sets! And right near by is the Les Schwab amphitheater for concerts in the summer of both local and national music to be played! Enjoy beautiful waterfall views and take a brisk or long walk and yap in the evening while the suns setting or in the warm day with many places and interesting people to see!
Need To Note: If you see beavers or other wildlife we do not bother them we walk past them (especially if we have dogs/pets we try to go as far around as possible) you can take pictures from a distance but not flash as we want our wildlife who has already come so far out here to be safe with the helps of locals cleaning up trash and not spilling chemicals or drinks onto the land ! Thanks for your help keeping our area and wildlife protected!
📍How to get there: You can find trails next to river from places like Columbia Park or you can just park near the old mill and find your way! Everyone’s connected so you’ll find your way through this magnificent trail!
