Please pray and if you feel led please donate!

As many of you you know my son (Austin) Atin and wife Brittany had a baby. Little Mikey was born with Hirschsprung (HIRSH-sproong) disease. He is scheduled to have surgery Thursday. Austin is working and trying to be at the hospital as much as he can. Like all of us bills are piling up. Please pray for them and if you feel led please donate! Thank you!

... Read moreHirschsprung disease is a rare condition that affects the large intestine and causes severe constipation or intestinal blockage in newborns and young children. It occurs when nerve cells are missing from parts of the bowel, making it difficult or impossible for stools to pass through normally. Surgery is often necessary to remove the affected section of the intestine, which can be a critical and life-changing procedure for babies like Mikey. Families dealing with Hirschsprung disease face many challenges beyond the immediate medical needs. The cost of surgery, hospital stays, and ongoing care can be overwhelming. Treatments might include additional therapies or follow-up surgeries, adding to the financial strain. Emotional and physical support from friends, family, and communities is vital for parents like Austin and Brittany during this difficult time. Community fundraising platforms, such as the GoFundMe page set up for the Carney family, play an essential role in helping cover medical expenses and related bills. Donations, even small contributions, and spreading awareness can relieve some stress and allow the family to focus on supporting little Mikey’s recovery. Prayers and positive thoughts are equally important, providing encouragement and strength. Joining together in support reflects the power of community and empathy in facing health crises. If you feel moved to help, consider donating to the family’s fundraiser or sharing their story to broaden their support network and enhance their chances of overcoming these hardships successfully.
